Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?

No. The tool requires just six data points: gender, age, health, tobacco use, desired coverage amount, and term length in years. That's enough to generate carrier quotes. Personal information like your name and address only comes up if you decide to apply.

Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?

These are the monthly rates each carrier provided for the health class you selected on the form. After you apply, the carrier performs its own underwriting and may assign a different class, which changes the premium. Rates on this site are for information only and do not constitute an offer of insurance or a guarantee of any price.

What happens when I click Apply?

Your name is added, and the application pulls in all six answers you just gave. From there, it moves to a secure platform where you continue entering the additional details the carriers need. You can exit and return later, and you sign everything electronically when ready. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California agency (License 0B75129), handles all applications.

Will I need a medical exam?

It depends on the carrier you select, the coverage amount, and your health answers. Many carriers offer immediate approval for qualified applicants without an exam; the details for each quote show whether an exam is required, might be required, or isn't needed.

Is a longer term better?

Choose a term based on when you'll need the protection: a 10-year term might cover a business loan, while 20 or 30 years covers a mortgage and young children's years at home. Longer periods lock in a lower monthly rate but cost more overall. The quote tool lets you compare all five standard durations side by side.

Does this site sell my information?

No. The quote form does not request any contact information, we don't sell or share data with third parties, and measurement on this site does not use cookies. Visit the privacy page to see exactly what is recorded and who records it.
